NUSWhispers – Confession #48048
#48035 #48039 Just to put things into perspective about the 2FA process: I had to go to inetapps.nus.edu.sg, download and install Symantec on my mobile phone, install Pulse Secure on my laptop, start the service via Task Manager, enable Java to run on Internet Explorer, use it to log into Pulse Secure, log in to WebVPN, access the NUS 2FA website and log into it, create a VIP access credential, enter my NUS email for the one-time activation code, key in the ID and finally I get to access my IVLE gradebook. I thought I was keying in nuclear device launch codes. It is far too easy to say that this is worth it for the sake of security if we aren't aware of the reality this results for professors and students alike.
