NUSWhispers – Confession #25681

Hope some ppl can help me out here. This is for real, and not a troll post. So recently I happened to chance upon this girl's facebook profile (let's call her A) while browsing through NUSWhispers, cos she does comment on some posts once in a long while. And I gotta be honest, based on A's fb display pic, she's definitely one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. And by beauty I don't mean those super chio, model kind of girl, but you know... beautiful in her own way. So anyway I briefly browsed through A's fb profile, but there wasn't much to see cos it's mostly private, and we don't have any mutual friends. But maybe it's cos i'm not an avid fb user so i didn't really add that many ppl i know on fb. Anyway, I was just wondering what if I were to just private message her, you know... to say Hi or something. But the thing is i'm really in 2 minds about this. First and foremost, I feel it's gonna be super creepy if a guy you don't know at all just msg you out of nowhere, and for no reason at all. Secondly I don't want to be seen as a desperate guy finding random girls to chat up, cos i'm really not that kind of person. And thirdly, I don't even know if A already has a bf anot. I have never done this kind of thing before (chatting up a random girl) so I really don't know if this is a suitable thing to do. So anyway my question is, would girls find it creepy if a guy were to just fb msg them saying hi? And also do you think I should just yolo and do it? If so, what are some good openings I can msg her? (to be honest I have absolutely no idea what to say hahaha). Once again I reiterate, this isn't a troll post and likewise i'll appreciate it if you guys don't troll as well. Appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks!!
